The David Geffen School of Medicine's mission of emergency preparedness goes beyond well-designed plans and procedures. Training and exercise programs are used to support our plans and determine the effectiveness of our program. Training also reinforces our capability to respond appropriately to a disaster and ensures a more efficient recovery process.
DGSOM Employee Emergency Action Plan Awareness Training
Emergency Action Plans provide the first line of defense against potential threats, as they ensure faculty, staff, students, and visitors are able to quickly respond to emergencies. An online training module has been created to assist in the development of emergency action plans. Since an emergency may be sudden and without warning, these procedures are designed to be flexible in order to accommodate contingencies of various types and magnitudes. Please click on the presentation below to initiate the online training module.
Additionally, in the event of an emergency, the below printable documents may be used as a quick reference guide.
